FreeBSD 6.0 actually comes with a NVidia binary blob:

/usr/src/sys/contrib/dev/nve/amd64/nvenetlib.o.bz2.uu
/usr/src/sys/contrib/dev/nve/i386/nvenetlib.o.bz2.uu

*if* that is of any use. Seems to work fine on an Iwill ZMaxDP
(currently in 32-bit).
