Roland Illig pointed out to me that was the cause of my pkglint build
failing.  (Some substitutions never take place if the file type is
wrong.)

Maybe a very simple reqression test run at build time to check that at
least text and script files are detected correctly would save a lot of
trouble for future typos like this.
