Go figure! :) It seems that every time the ath or ath_netbsd code is 
altered, the link is quite disturbed for a few days, then, as if there 
were some gradual adaptation in the hardware (or software), the errors 
quietly vanish and fade away, so that I get a fairly stable link within 
a week. That's pretty strange. Maybe some non-volatile variables are 
responsible for this?
