How did you do?

  1. Insert card at PC.
  2. Power on enclosure of IEEE1394.
  3. Please wait for spinup.
     : (wait ;-)
     : (wait  ;-)
     : (wait   ;-)
  4. Insert cable at card.

Or you can execute bus reset by fwctl(8) -r.
# See man fwctl(8).
