current-users: Umlauts and FS

Hello List,

I'm using a German Keyboard Layout.
While typing Umlauts is fine, Files containing Umlauts are not Displayed.
They show Question Marks. 

$ touch märchenprinz
$ ls
m?rchenprinz
$ 

Am I missing something ?
