Ok, I found that this is false. Sounds strange, but after a complete
shutdown of the system, turning the power off and switching on again
there is no more problem with the old kernel-config. This happens only
after compiling and installing the current distribution. Looks to me
like bad designed hardware. In case someone is interested in the listing
of the hardware components of my system, just ask.
