I've been trying to upgrade my -current from 2.99.16 to 3.99.3 but I'm
having problems with lost interrupts on the CD drive which makes it unusable.
These problems do not exist in 2.99.16.
Platform: Dell Latitude D600 laptop, i386.
dmesg extracts:

Has anyone else had this problem? Any known solutions?
Thanks.
