I was running a netbsd-2 system (on a Soekris net4501) with bridge + ipf
until I recently tried to use the FTP proxy which made the system panic
(PR kern/29582). Unfortunately I didn't have the time so far to apply a
patch from darrenr@; I just reconfigured the system as a router and it
didn't panic since...
