My system has been running with base sendmail for quite some time. I
used get all worried about not running the "latest sendmail" until I
realized that the changes USUALLY didn't affect my setup.

And so once again I reiterate that I want sendmail left in the base
installation. It compiles (and runs) on i386, it compiles (and runs) on
SPARC, etc. Last time I checked, I couldn't get pine or imap or xorg
from pkgsrc to compile on the sparc.
