One embellishment you might want to do is to create hard links and
have only to one real CVS/Root file.  That way in a pinch you can just
echo into it and have all the roots change instantly.

2 -rw-r--r--  10951 root  wsrc    46B Oct 28 13:23 /usr/src/CVS/Root

It is kind of a kick seeing over 10k hard links...
