Subject: file system hang on -current?

I have a new Dell 8400 with 1G of RAM and a big SATA disk. I brought
up -current on it (from yesterday's source). When I tried unpacking
two tarballs at once (pkgsrc, from an on-disk file and src, from a CD),
something hung. If I try to run 'find' on /usr/pkgsrc, the find
command hangs, in a fashion unkillable by 'kill -9'. ps shows that
it's in vnlock.

The kernel is GENERIC.MPACPI; here's the dmesg, if it matters.
