I built a new kernel with that option and am now able to use the
PCMCIA-CF adapter in one of the two slots:

wdc2 at pcmcia0 function 0: <TOSHIBA THNCF128MMA , , , >
pcic0: port 0x420-0x42f
wdc2: i/o mapped mode
pcmcia0: card irq 9
atabus2 at wdc2 channel 0
wd1 at atabus2 drive 0: <TOSHIBA THNCF128MMA>
wd1: drive supports 1-sector PIO transfers, LBA addressing
wd1: 122 MB, 978 cyl, 8 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 250368 sectors
wd1: 32-bit data port
pcmcia0: card irq 9

Using the second slot crashed the machine with "bad stat 0 in

My NIC is still not usable
ne2 at pcmcia1 function 0: <Dual Speed, 10/100 Port Attached PC Card,
1.0, >
pcic0: port 0x400-0x41f
pcmcia1: card irq 7
ne2: Ethernet address 00:e0:98:9e:6d:fa
nsphyter0 at ne2 phy 6: DP83815 10/100 media interface, rev. 3
nsphyter0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto

I'm going test a kernel with IOBASE=3D0x400 and maybe 0x300 this evening.
Do I've to tweak PCIC_ISA_INTR_ALLOC_MASK too?
