no, that's to be expected.  the syntax for a map is

    Kfoo bar wibble

where "foo" is the name used in the $(foo$) stuff on the right hand
side of rules, "bar" is the type of map (eg syslog, arith, hash, ldap,
etc), and wibble is zero or more arguments to the map.
