Hello,

I've been noticing for a while (probably since 2.0) an oddity with the
console after booting up. The original problem came up when X would
start and I'd go back to the console with CTRL-ALT-F1. The mouse and
keyboard would be mostly unresponsive. Trying a CTRL-ALT-F2 works. I get
a second console and can work. Most recently, I noticed this on a
machine that does not ever run X. After booting, I'd try to log in, but
after typing a few characters, things just seem to hang. Switching to
ttyE1 works.

Could there be some conflict between "ttyE0" and "console" since they're
both turned "on"?

Not a critical thing, but any help would be great. Thanks,

Louis
