Now that usb2 works, can anyone recommend a good (i.e. supported)
usb2 caddy for ide disks? Preferably for laptop drives, but I'm not
fussy so long as they don't draw too much power (maybe self powered
3.5" enclosure would do it - i have a 55w psu since I run mini-itx).

I've tried the 'blueghost' ones, they didn't seem to work, but I thought
raidframe would be fun to play with and this might be the cheapest way
to achieve hot-swap.....

Of course power tools and alcohol don't mix. Everyone knows power
tools aren't soluble in alcohol ...
