Subject: using GENERIC_LAPTOP on recent Thinkpad : anyone ?

The GENERIC_LAPTOP has never been able to boot my
Thinkpad X30 since 1.6.1 and now it's the same
thing on current. Before I dwelve into it and see
what option from the config file makes the laptop
stuck on boot, has anybody with a recent Thinkpad
model been using GENERIC_LAPTOP with no trouble
at all ? :p
