Hmm.  I still get a panic at netbsd:ieee80211_chan2mode+0x25.

ifconfig line: "ifcofnig wi0 10.0.0.1 media DS11 mediaopt hostap nwid seebs".

I'll retest more when I get home and have a stable network connection.
