Thanks - the patch worked.  I was able to disklabel the disk correctly.

Now there just seems to be an issue with df(1).  When reporting in
512-blocks, the total number is negative:

/dev/ld0g         -1677515064 36263968 -1844651648     1%    /anon-root

export BLOCKSIZE=3D1k

/dev/ld0g         1308726116 17901268 1225388540     1%    /somewhere
