Or maybe the site you think is your ISP is actually run by an entirely
different company.  Or more likey the ADSL service is contracted out.

In any case I suspect you'll only see the benefit of the additional
bandwidth if you have multiple concurrent connections.

The MAY have given you a lower contention ratio - but you are probably
in with a load of high-bandwidth users....
