Look. You can all pretend that I can use leverage with my ISP but
I can't. I don't pay the bills. I don't have any pull with the people
that pay the bills. The people that pay the bills don't try to run
a mail server there. The people that pay the bills don't want to
pay the extra $X00.00/month in order to have access to the outgoing
mail relay.

It's not like I'm a little kiddie trying to run my mail server on
a home broadband connection or anything. This is in a colocation
facility next to an auto manufacturers website on 100mbit/s of
pipe... My mail server is configured correctly and never sends out
spam. Requiring rDNS is like requiring me to run authd before
you'll accept mail from me.
