Hi,

just try the following under -current (1.6ZJ here) and recent X too.  Open
xawtv (I guess fxtv should do, too) and move its window off the left side of
the screen.  Voila!  Immediate system reboot!

Does this happen for you too?  (If you can, try in stable...)

This is with an Avermedia TV Phone (bt848, phillips tuner) card.
