Actually I have two machines running SMP -current kernel.

With one I have similiar problems.. it just freezes.

With 2nd... others:

1. ntpd dioe sync with other server but after few hours it starts drifting
2. usb does not work (it is detected during boot), but after that when I
   connect some device it says there was an error enableing port and that
   port will be disabled...
   (it does not happen on same system with UNI kernel)

in both described situations I use GENERIC (UNI and SMP)
