Hi,
I'm looking for a ECS A900 notebook (low-end) to buy, but I need to know
if there are drivers for, at least, the network device, a Realtek 8100.
Looking at the ECS homepage, at the drivers section, the driver I found
is for Realtek 8139, but at the specification section, the webpage tells
the network card is a built-in Realtek 8100. Is 8100 the serie of 8139?
Also, running NetBSD with Realtek 8139 network cards, I can only use
cards with RTL8139D (note the D revision) chipset, not with RTL8139B nor
RTL8139C. Is this a driver issue?
Thank you.
