Yesterday I posted a request for help on a problem with "wait" status 
return codes in Bourne Shell scripts.   Prior to about 1.6L the test 
script I posted runs as expected.  All versions of NetBSD tested after 
that appear to have a problem with the "wait" status. Tested versions 
included 1.6Q, 1.6U, 1.6X and 1.6ZF.

PR bin/23786 was filed with the test script.
