The original suit was ATT vs. UCB with BSDI, FreeBSD and NetBSD as
included players in the settlement.

It is pretty much all moot now as the "encumbered" code has been released
under the BSD copyright by Caldera/SCO.

Note that FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, and BSDI are all now based on
BSD 4.4 Lite 2, which was considered unencumbered by ATT during the
settlement of the trial. (actually during the settlement period after
the trial.)

SCO reminds me of those monkeys who would keep zapping themselves with
cocaine until they died.
