I tried to use LFS on a SCSI disk I use for 'rdiff-backup's of a 
few machines.  In backing-up one remote machine, the 'rdiff-backup' 
process writing to the LFS directory would wedge in a "vnlock"
state.  The only way I could kill it was with a hard re-boot of 
the system (1.6ZC i386).  'Rdiff-backup' tends to create many small
files; the problem could be there.  It works fine on ffs+softdep,
however.
