I know that this has been fixed (in -current anyway, not in 1.6 yet
I believe) but no-one actually answered this, so ...

"OK" is not the right thing to ask.   What dnscache is doing is legal,
there's no requirement to send anything in the auth or additional sections
when sending an answer.

"OK" implies more of a value judgement, for which the answer is less clear.
