cp /usr/mdec/biosboot /boot
installboot -v /dev/rwd2a /usr/mdec/bootxx_ffsv2

Ive had the same problem last night.

Anyway at the moment i cant boot /netbsd because of the  'Input/output 
error'. Simple 'cp /netbsd /netbsd.old' fixed that(for now) and 
netbsd.old loads and boots OK?
