IIRC the final change went in early in August (this is the nasty hack
that looks for /boot in a filesystem 64 sectors down the disk if it
isn't found at the start of the partiton.

This was all made easier by my 'new' boot code.

When (if) disklabel is changed to write the disklabel to the beginning
of every netbsd (type 169) partition, then the disklabel could be
inspected.  At the moment the disklabel read with the bootstrap
might be garbage.
