Hello,
there's a nice firewall on a PCI card solution using Linux:

Basically it's three RealTek *cough* network chips and a Hitachi SH4 CPU
on a PCI card. One of the ethernet chips appears in the host system
and is connected with the second one, the third one is connected with
the external RJ45 port.
The interesting question is of course wether it would run NetBSD.
