My configuration is 4 of WD800AB drives, two PROMIS Ultra
100 TX2 cards, 128MB memory, 3com network card.  I installed
1.6.1 from CD-ROM, made RAID5 array, mounted network drive,
and copied everything by using "cd network-drive; tar cf -
. | (pushd local-raid; tar xfp -)".  Like 10 to 20 min
later, system hung up.

I was watching the situation with top.  The free memory went
down and system locked up.  I don't remeber how much free
memory the system had at that time.  It looks like a dead
lock problem somewhere.  This happens only if I tried to
extract into RAID drives, but I didn't try local copy, so
I'm not sure whether RAID frame is real source of trouble or
not.
