I just have checked my BIOS. I didn't find ACPI related options.
It actually seems the BIOS has no ACPI support.
IMO, it is less confusing, when I get a message like:
acpi0 at mainbus0: not supported/enabled by BIOS
rather than the two above error messages unless a kernel option
like a ACPIDEBUG is enabled.
