I'm pretty sure that ./build.sh -E build uses this one:

tape# ident /usr/src/share/mk/bsd.own.mk
/usr/src/share/mk/bsd.own.mk:
     $NetBSD: bsd.own.mk,v 1.344 2003/07/23 08:01:46 itojun Exp $

and not this one..

tape# ident /usr/share/mk/bsd.own.mk
/usr/share/mk/bsd.own.mk:
     $NetBSD: bsd.own.mk,v 1.343 2003/07/22 11:48:59 mrg Exp $
