Ah, OK, well then I'll try to remember to file a PR.  Maybe I'll even
get some flash of insight as to how this can be done easily...

No, it won't fit on any floppy (on sparc the miniroot version is three
times as big at over 6 MB), but it will fit nicely on any NFS-mounted
miniroot.  :-)

There's no real reason why the miniroot and even ramdisk filesystems
couldn't be made large enough for debugging as well since they can be
loaded and netbooted onto sufficiently capable machines for that
specific purpose.

For debugging most of the crunched binaries, including sysinst, it can
also be run from anywhere, even on a multi-user system.  I was thinking
of running it on under the debugger and installing to a spare drive.
