I built my distribtion of 1.6R in /usr/i386build.

on excecuting ./build.sh -U -D /usr/i386build install=/ I stopped with
Crtl-C. (Think it was a great mistake) Re-executing always produces
the following output:

 ./build.sh -U -D /usr/i386build install=/ 
===> build.sh command: ./build.sh -U -D /usr/i386build install=/
===> build.sh started: Tue Apr 15 11:25:47 CEST 2003
===> Bootstrapping nbmake
checking for sh... /bin/sh
checking for gcc... cc
checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

ERROR: configure of nbmake failed
*** BUILD ABORTED ***

build.sh clean / cleandir in /usr/src doesn't help.
Can someone give me a hint.
