i tried

pppd ....options.... 10.255.246.1:10.255.246.100

and pppd on other side



because 10.255.246.* is mine ethernet subnet this pppd connects fine and
then doesn't work. no ping!!!


with any other address line 10.1.1.1 (not in ethernet subnet) all works
fine.

proxyarp doesn't fix.

is it bug or i did something wrong?
