That wouldn't work -- they're quite dynamic, even during installation of
binary packages.

That's a very good idea though -- I've often thought the same thing,
though it's never been important enough for me to even think about how
it might be done. I suppose they could just be tacked onto the end of
the +MESSAGE file (with "tee -a", for example) so that they can be seen
with "pkg_info -B".
