Just wanted to drop a note of thanks to all the developers. Between
the time my build tools broke, and the time I got it working again
the system is able to build a SMP kernel that recognizes both PPro
180 processors and is running 'stable' for the last 3 hours with
compiles going on and ssh connections.

Thanks to you all.
