OTOH one might expect something to create /usr/local/[s]bin
especially since sysctl reports:
user.cs_path = /usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/pkg/bin:/usr/pkg/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin
