OK. the cause can still be the same, with the data of an amap being
corrupted.
On my system I also see occasional core dumps of perl, while collecting
data from switches for mrtg. could be a perl or net::snmp bug, but I never
saw it on a UP system ... and amap corruption could also explain it, I guess.
