I think it's a problem which has already been reported: 
suse's ldconfig is, for some reason, run as a native binary instead of
linux. A syscall made by ldconfig happens to be our settimeofday(),
which change the date of the machine (which can confuse cron) and the
return value confuse ldconfig.
