Strange. Well - I didn't try this with  pkg_info, but ftp itself should work
fine - that is, find out it can't reach the ipv6 address, and try the next
address the name server had returned. As long as this is a "no route to hos=
t"
it should even be fast.

Maybe the temporary directory pkg_info uses to download the pkg to peek in
is too full? Normally on (a bit of ktrace/kdump later) /var/tmp.
Setenv PKG_TMPDIR to something with lots of space.

Btw, the IPv6 routing entries you see are mostly non-routing entries for
ipv4-mapped-ipv6 or vice versa address ranges, that would allow dangerous
packets to be injected into your system.
