  | I haven't tried a super-recent kernel, but I have recoifing working w/ a
  | Sony burner. Did you try reducing the record speed? I got errors at 10x,
  | but 4x was fine (even though the media are rated 10x).

I've been burning at 12x using -current from a couple of days ago to a
12x burner & 12x media. It works generally ok, although I get some
disks that don't work wonderfully on my test machines (these are just
test disks for multiboot NetBSD cds).
