Nothing. This is all I could get from dmesg:
auich0 at pci0 dev 31 function 5: i82801BA (ICH2) AC-97 Audio
auich0: interrupting at irq 10
auich0: ALG16 codec; headphone, 18 bit DAC, 18 bit ADC, Realtek 3D
auich0: warning, fixed rate codec
audio0 at auich0: full duplex, mmap, independent

Looks like at anything != 48000. I made a trick and now xmms sound all right:
launched esd -r 44100 then audioctl -w play.rate=48000 and diverted xmms
output through esd. Else, xmms tried to setup the playrate at 44100 everytime
a new song started.
