yes - having played around with those sort of files...

Actually I would put a little effort into making mv, ln, mkdir and
rm shell builtins - for at least one shell, and then make it
root's default shell.
Maybe also cp, chown, chmod..
(I'd include cat, but the netbsd one seems to have grown options
that belong in pr :-)
