Just because it's used as an example doesn't mean it's about to land in
the tree, geez.

Not that we should discuss BSD Auth vs PAM in this thread, but there is
one major problem with BSD Auth -- it cannot modify the context of the
process that needs to do the authentication.  Think "AFS".
