This must be another misconfiguration of mine? When I try to re-install
sets on my laptop using install floppies, nfs hangs. I also had to add
bootp to my dhcpd on the server. In any case, I finally found that the
wireless link to the laptop dies with these comments:

Aug 14 22:08:53 laurie /netbsd: wi0: device timeout
Aug 14 22:08:53 laurie /netbsd: wi0: command timed out, cmd=0x2
Aug 14 22:09:02 laurie /netbsd: wi0: device timeout
Aug 14 22:09:02 laurie /netbsd: wi0: command timed out, cmd=0x2
