BTW: our "lpd" can use the JetDirect protocol, too. The "printcap" on
     my server looks like this:

hp-lj-4|colwyn|lyssa|lp:\
	:lp=9100@book-of-gquan:\
	:of=/usr/pkg/libexec/magicfilter/ljet4-filter:\
	:sd=/var/spool/lpd:\
	:mx#0:\
	:sh:

This way I get printer filters for a network connected HP Laserjet 4
known by the hostname "book-of-quan".
