Hi,
a sgimips 1.6_BETA2 paniced with "panic: lfs_updatemeta: negative" while
running a build.sh. I can't reboot it any more:
Starting ntpd.
Starting sshd.
lfs_updatemeta: negative bytes (segment 444 short by 896)
lfs_updatemeta: ino 100224, lbn 1, addr = 0x6f092
panic: lfs_updatemeta: negative bytes
Stopped in pid 126 (lfs_cleanerd) at cpu_Debugger+0x4: jr ra
bdslot: nop
I tried running fsck_lfs from single user but it didn't solve the problem:
# fsck -y /home
** /dev/rsd0e
** Last Mounted on /home
** Phase 0 - Check Segment Summaries and Inode Free List
** Phase 1 - Check Blocks and Sizes
** Phase 2 - Check Pathnames
** Phase 3 - Check Connectivity
** Phase 4 - Check Reference Counts
** Phase 5 - Check Segment Block Accounting
segment 444 claims 657792 bytes but has 665984 (low by 8192)
