assuming that's a direct cut-and-paste, you missed the most important part:
the -l after the co. At least with the version of cvs that I'm using (whatever
happens to be on the netbsd-1-6 branch), and connecting to anoncvs.netbsd.org,
the -l tells cvs to only grab stuff that immediately in each component of the
src module specified by the modules file. Can you try it with that flag and
see if it works?
